VANGEN 25-14 VE and Liberation of Netherlands (8 May 25)

The Area HQ is organizing Cadet involvement in a civilian event: the National Commemorative Ceremony will take place at Canada Lands Square at the CN Tower. VIP Guests may include Her Excellency the Governor General, The Lt Governor of Ontario, Minister of Veterans Affairs, Chief of Defence Staff, Premier of Ontario and other VIP Guests. Approx 60 Cadets total to be a formed marching group with cadet parade positions, potential for cadets to be included in or to form a colour party, potential that a cadet would be asked to read the Commitment to Remember in English and French, potential for cadets to act as VIP escorts for seating.
